feeling neglectful....

You know how they say 'your first child gets spoiled and has TONS of pictures, then each kid after that has less and less...' Well I am already feeling that way with number 2 on the way. With Trey, I took a picture each month (starting at 16 weeks). This one... I had the best of intentions, but just never got around to it! I really even wanted to take a special picture at 16 weeks, cause that same week Trey was 16 months... I thought it would be really cute.... Anyway, it never happened, so at 18 weeks I finally got around to snapping some pictures!

I am now 22 weeks.... and a couple of weeks ago, we found out that it's another BOY! I couldn't be more excited for Trey to have a little buddy to follow him around (or maybe I'm just crazy!) Will is really excited, too! He can't wait to coach them in sports and is pumped up that that will be able to play on the same teams (sometimes).

Then came the fun of making gingerbread houses...

Brieah and Trey were tired of being told that the couldn't eat the candy for the gingerbread houses, so we gave them each a sucker and life was good again!

Then he decided that he could 'rib-it' (dip) his gingerbread man in the icing... then lick it off!

Trey was a pro once we showed him how to put the candy on!

We have so much to be thankful for, especially for our wonderful families who fed us yummy food all day long! We are grateful to have Trey in our lives and can't imagine life without him now. :) He makes every day fun and exciting! I look forward to coming home from work each day to play and hang out with him. His new thing lately has been to 'rot,' or rock, before bed. It is so sweet and I cherish these precious moments that I get to spend with him each night before bed, when he is calm and snuggled on my lap. It is even more amazing now, to have him on my lap and feel the baby kicking around inside. I am so blessed to be the mommy of this special little boy, and can't wait for the next little guy to join our family too!
