Now for the scary part. It all started Monday Morning... Will left out of town for work. Before he left we had joked about me going into labor while he was gone. He said she would get on the next flight home and pray that he would make it back in time and that I would forgive him. Well me JINXED (sp) ourselves. After work on Monday, I tutored some kids at school, then my mom and I went to Home Depot to pick up some new paint for the baby's room, then I had to run over to Micheal's for some other school things. But this time it was 8 o'clock at night and I was getting pretty exhausted. I had felt a few contractions while we were out, but figured I would rather hurry and get my errands done so that I didn't need to run any the rest of the week. Well by the time we got in the car. The contractions were becoming more consistent, and I was starting to panic. I went to my parents house with my mom and laid down. I finally stopped panicking enough to relax and fall asleep. Around 9:30 my phone rand and it started me awake. This is when I realized that I was still having contractions. My dad came in and gave me a father's blessing. I didn't know what to do. The week prior, I had had a few contractions and called the doctor. they said that if I had more than 6 in an hour and couldn't get them to stop by laying down and drinking fluids, that I needed to go to labor and delivery. Well, I knew I had had more than 6, but I didn't want to go without Will. After the blessing, I knew what I needed to do. So, my mom and I left for the hospital at about 10:30 pm. All along thinking that we would go, they would check them out, then give me something to stop them, and I would go back home. NOPE... we were wrong.
After arriving, they hooked my up to the monitor and realized that I was having contractions every 1 to 3 minutes. They first tried to give me this shot to stop the contractions.... bad idea. Well, it stopped the contractions, but my body had a reaction to it. My heart rate and pulse both pretty much doubled, my body got really hot and felt tingly all over, and I started to pass out! We had to just wait for the medicine to run it's course and for my heart rate to come back down, before we could try something else. After this, they gave me some pills. Those weren't working fast enough so they said that they were going to ADMIT me to the hospital and take me to a room. This was so scary and not having Will there made it even worse. We didn't know whether to get him a plane ticket home from Chicago or not. After admitting me they gave me a medicine to knock me out, thinking that if my whole body could relax the pills would have a greater effect and help my uterus relax as well. At about 2:30 am they started the medicine and I got to talk to Will. Well, not really talk, I don't know what I was saying because they had already put the knock out stuff in my IV. Luckily, this did help, and the contractions began to slow down. I woke up around 7 am to my dad, our home teacher, and another man from our ward who Will works with in Young Men's, all there to give me another blessing. I am so grateful for the priesthood ans worthy members who hold it. I think I fell back asleep until my doctor came in to see me. It was a relief to see him. I knew that they had been calling him all night and that he had been checking my monitors through the night as well. I don't know how OB doctors do it... getting calls all night or going in for a delivery in the middle of the night, then having to go into work the next day... Thank you Dr. Swainston! Well, he said Will was fine to stay till Wednesday, when his flight was scheduled to come home. He said that the contractions were due to a kidney/bladder infection and he started me on antibiotics. He had originally said that he wanted me to satay there Tuesday night too and that he would come in ands see me Wednesday morning to release me. Well all day Tuesday I hung out and had some fun visitors. Thanks mom, dad, Alyssa, Jessica, Bridget, Kelly, Michael and Jamie, the Scarlett's (Kari, Trent, Shantel), and Carina for coming by to visit! At about 8 pm Tuesday night the nurse came in and said that the doctor had called and that he had been watching my monitors and that I was good to go HOME!!!!! It was crazy to think of all the things that had happened in just 24 hours!!! I was really excited and relived. Will was too.... poor Will got no sleep, and then had to sit through meetings all day tired and wishing he was back at home.
Now, I have been stuck at home for the rest of the week. I have been going crazy. Thanks to the wonderful ladies I work with, they took care of everything for me. They took my class for the day, then got a sub for me and even did sub plans! Your ladies truly are amazing and I am so grateful to work with such awesome people.

This is a picture courtesy of my mom. You can tell I was really happy about it!!! She was great through the whole ordeal, and surprisingly calm. Which is an accomplishment in and of itself for my mom, if any of you know her. She stayed with me and kept me clam throughout the whole experience. One time she traded off with my dad and she went home to get a few things. She came back with a picture of Will and I ( as you can see) and some decorations for TREY (as you can also see)! She wanted me to feel comfortable and Trey to feel welcomed, should be decide to come early!!! :) Thanks mom again for all you did and still are doing for me!!! Love you!
Will is home and I am so glad... hopefully no more trips to the hospital until this baby is ready to come! I guess one good thing did come out of this adventure... we are now officially registered at the hospital (which we were supposed to do weeks ago)!
